The Summer I Turned Pretty - Jenny Han

Everything that happened this past summer, and every summer before it, has all led up to this. To now.
Every year Isabel spends a perfect summer at her family friends' house. There's the swimming pool at night, the private stretch of sandy beach . . . and the two boys. Unavailable, aloof Conrad - who she's been in love with forever - and friendly, relaxed Jeremiah, the only one who's ever really paid her any attention.
But this year something is different. They seem to have noticed her for the first time. It's going to be an amazing summer - and one she'll never forget...
I first read about this book in Sugar magazine and thought it sounded like a really cute read for Summer. I was about 20 at the time and read it on all of the sunny days. It was a nice story with likeable characters. I read the next two in the trilogy and really liked the way the storyline developed throughout.
I love the cover of the book. Daisies are my favourite flower and blue is my favourite colour. If I hadn't read about it beforehand I would still have picked up the book.
Each of the 3 books has a page at the beginning with an inspirational message from Jenny Han. The one from the second book I actually took out of the book and it's stuck on my bedroom wall.
