J Date fell on my birthday weekend, we were staying in a hotel in Manchester city centre and it was Kirsty's turn to choose the date. She chose Junkyard Golf which was an indoor crazy golf next to AMC cinema. The day we went it was actually the last day that it was open and it was surprisingly very quiet. We went at about 2pm in the afternoon and it was open until 11pm at night so it could have got a lot busier. It was a really unique place made of 'junk' to build up each hole on 2 courses. I didn't take photos because it was quite dark in there and I didn't want to use flash so I will link the video that Kirsty made of the date below.

Alphabet Dating - C Date!
Our C date fell in February so we used it as our Valentine's day date and went to the Cinema.
I know this is a really basic C date idea but it's still a good one. We actually went twice that weekend to make it a bit more special.
We also went to TGI Fridays where I had Chicken Fingers and Cheese sticks. Then we had Coke and Crisps in the Cinema.
The first time we watched Goosebumps and the second time we watched The 5th Wave. Both films are really good and I recommend them to everyone. Especially The 5th Wave.

Alphabet Dating - B Date!
For our B date we booked a Badminton court for an hour. We already had the rackets and shuttlecocks because we used to play Badminton a lot but we stopped going well over a year ago. It was nice to be able to do something that was so energetic and different to a normal date but still a lot of fun.
We also had Butties, Biscuits, Chocolate Bars, Bacon Crisps and Blue Powerade.

Alphabet Dating - A Date!
We started doing Alphabet Dating this year which is where you take a letter of the alphabet and go on a date beginning with that letter for the whole year. We are doing one date every 2 weeks which actually takes us into next year with Y and Z.
We have been endlessly googling for ideas for each date so I'm going to upload a few photos from each date and write down what we did and where we went, so you can get ideas from us too!
For A, we brought down our boxes full of scrapbook stuff and wedding planning and we spent half of the day just being creative and Artistic.
We also watched a film on Amazon Prime, which is kind of cheating but still works. We watched The Call. We had Apple Juice, Aero and Airheads for snacks.

The Big Lunch
The Big Lunch happens on a Sunday every year, several of my local parks invited the community to come and have a picnic in the park and they set up music and children's games.
However, people do also have street parties or have some friends over.
I went with my mum and Kirsty to our local park, or as I used to call it, 'Duck Park'.
The sun was out so it was a really nice, warm day. We took our picnic blanket and an umbrella to block out some of the sun, I get burnt very easily.
There was a local steel band playing throughout the day, a hut selling snacks and drinks, and free ice cream tickets for children.
We had fun watching all of the dogs and listening to the music and I went for a walk around the park afterwards and saw baby geese.
These are some of the photos from the day.
