Alphabet Dating - V Date!

For special occasions - birthdays, anniversaries, holidays - we incorporate the alphabet dates so we aren't trying to find the money for 2 dates in one week. V Date falls in November around Kirsty's Birthday so it was Kirsty's choice for what we did. She decided to do another escape room for her Birthday. There were 2 escape rooms beginning with V - the one we preferred is called Vacancy and is themed around a hotel room. But that was fully booked. So we chose Virus which is about a Zombie outbreak. We failed. It was very hard. Possibly because we don't know much about zombies. We did really well in the first escape room we did because we were interested in the topic so maybe a Zombie themed room was a bad choice. We will not give up though! We will escape one day! After we did the room, we went in some shops and Kirsty bought a book which then set off the alarms in every other shop we went in. For dinner we had TGI Fridays with Kirsty's birthday money which was delicious as always. We sat on the upper level and it was decorated for Christmas and looked very pretty. We watched Arrival at the cinema which was really good, we knew there was a twist in but had no idea where or what it was so all the way through we were trying to work it out. When we got home we lit the Birthday cake and read together. Then while she was in bed I drew her a last birthday present - a flowery border around a cute love quote to give her the next day.

WHAT I GOT FOR MY BIRTHDAY!!!

This is going to be a photo-heavy post.

These are most of the gifts I received from my parents, siblings, nephews, nieces and my fiancee.
I won't list who bought what, or where everything is from, but I have also shown everything in a video on my YouTube which will have more detail.

If you want to know more about anything you see here, leave a comment and I will get back to you very soon!

I also got some sweets, a thorntons toffee cake, a lot of scratchcards and a lottery ticket.
I went to see Tomorrowland at the cinema and I really enjoyed it.
I'm so grateful for everything that I received, I can't wait to use it all!

Turning 24 - Birthday Plans

In 8 days I am turning 24. It's not a special age. It's not quite halfway to 50. But I like to treat every birthday, mine and others, as a special one.

I have a few plans for my birthday:

My fiancee has paid for her, me and my mum to go to Media City UK in Salford on Saturday. It's my mums birthday 2 days after mine and the ticket is a present for her too. I have wanted to go for a while so I'm really excited.

I'm getting my hair dyed a dark purple and getting a trim the day before my birthday.

We are going to the cinema on my birthday to see Tomorrowland and hopefully have something to eat afterwards.

I wanted to post my plans before my birthday, so I can post my presents after.

Stay tuned for a mass post of presents you wouldn't expect a 24 year old to get! (I already know what some of them are. I'm really bad with surprises)

Did/do you have any plans for your birthday? What was your favourite birthday outing?
